Ezra's Fist
Description
Ezra's Fist is a garden world located in the Ezra's Reach system in the Shackleton Expanse.
Biosphere
The planet is fully habitable with an atmosphere suited to Barzans, making it toxic to nearly all other humanoid species. It is one of the few worlds where Barzans can live without assistive devices or implants.
Known Flora: Ezra's Tongue - A 25 km tall sapient tree which appears to respond to the desires of the colonists.
Points of Interest
One colony, named Ezra's Thumb, with about 10,000 inhabitants. One moon, called Ezra's Finger, which is made almost entirely of dilithium.
The colony was established by an arrangement between the Barzan government and the Ferengi Clan Mokgg. Clan Mokgg was to transport the colonists and provide the ships and technology to mine the dilithium in exchange for sales rights.
The planet is affiliated with the United Federation of Planets. It was unaffiliated until a 2385 mission by the USS Wisconsin.
Inhabitants
The only known intelligent species are the Barzan colonists.
